Intern Academy Hands-on Skills Training

The aim of the Intern Academy is to apply standardized and foundational urologic skills to the first year of residency practice in order to improve clinical proficiency and promote patient safety. The training includes six critical stations: catheters, endoscopy, surgical skills, priapism, ultrasound, and communication skills, which will serve to provide the urologic intern with valuable experience in a controlled setting before they are encountered in the emergency room, ward, or operating room.
